Funds a rollin' in

Lab members Matthew Hufford and Laura Vann have both recently received funding for their research.
Matt received a UC MEXUS postdoctoral grant for work to clone and sequence parts of the tb1gene in populations of the wild ancestor of maize. Undergraduate researcher Tom Kono will be collaborating with Matt on the project.
Laura Vann received a UC Davis Jastro Shields Research Grant to carry out work looking at transcriptome differences between populations and subspecies of Joshua Trees.
